£832.50 Superfine The Royal Grandeur of Turbaned Ganesha Brass Sculpture
Superfine The Royal Grandeur of Turbaned Ganesha Brass Sculpture
This extremely lovable form of Lord Ganesha depicts him in his royal grandeur with the legs folded in utkutasana and the right ankle supporting his large portly belly. He is carved here in a simple four-armed figure, yet so uncommon and new in its visual effects. The superfine quality and noble luster highlight his divine aura. Ganesha is the foremost deity worshipped in the entire Hindu pantheon before the start of any ritual ceremony; as also prescribed by Vishnu at the time of his birth, that no ritual would accomplish or bear fruits unless it first invoked Lord Ganesha. Marriage rituals have always been a priority among them. £1599.00 The Invincible Kali Brass Statue- Seated Under A Flaming Prabhavali
The Invincible Kali Brass Statue- Seated Under A Flaming Prabhavali
This elaborate brass sculpture is a variation of the Goddess Kali iconography, and hers is a distinct iconography. Her stance is far from the unassuming body language of Indian devices; she is clad in very little by way of clothing and shringar; and there is ferocity about her composure, which matches the weapons she wields in her numerous hands. This one is alone Goddess Kali's composition, seated on an inverted lotus pedestal as opposed to stepping on her supine husband, Shiva. She is the ashtabhujadhari (eight-armed), and each of the spiritual implements in her possession is enough to send shivers down the adharmee's spine.
